Fast typing – Filtering a view – a Problem

Hi All,

Onkeyup event of a inputText field i m filtering my viewPanel.

But just after type a single char page got refreshed. if i type fast it will filter the view only by 2 char.

Please help on the same.

Answer :-

Have tryed and need did to check some property of a inputText

Need to select the partial update and just refresh the view panel from select element.

Hi,

I would suggest you to use the "Type Ahead" property of a view(Its kind of Ajax). This would help user to see all the hints while typing and once he finishes you can submit it by button press.
